1 Purpose of These Guidelines

GoldDonate hosts campaigns and donations from a global community. These Guidelines define how users should behave when creating campaigns, making donations, posting comments or using platform features, in addition to the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

2 Respectful Communication

Users are expected to communicate respectfully with others. This includes:
  • Using appropriate and professional language in campaign descriptions, comments and messages;
  • Avoiding harassment, threats, insults or targeted attacks;
  • Refraining from hate speech, discriminatory remarks or degrading content about any group or individual.

3 Honest & Clear Campaigns

Campaign creators must ensure that campaigns are honest and clear. Campaigns should:
  • Accurately describe the purpose, goals and beneficiaries;
  • Use images and media that represent the campaign truthfully;
  • Explain how funds will be used in simple, understandable terms;
  • Provide timely updates about progress, milestones and changes.

4 Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not allowed in campaigns, comments or profiles:
  • Illegal activities or advocacy of unlawful behavior;
  • Violence, threats, or promotion of harm to self or others;
  • Hate, harassment or content targeting protected groups;
  • Fraudulent, misleading or deceptive statements;
  • Graphic or excessively shocking images unrelated to the campaign purpose;
  • Spam, unrelated advertising or mass solicitation.

5 Donor Trust & Transparency

Fundraisers hold a position of trust with donors. To support this:
  • Use funds in line with the stated purpose of the campaign;
  • Maintain records relevant to campaign use of funds where appropriate;
  • Provide clear, honest updates if goals, costs or timelines change;
  • Respond to reasonable donor questions when possible.

6 Privacy & Personal Information

Users should be careful when sharing personal information:
  • Avoid posting sensitive data such as full identification numbers or detailed private addresses;
  • Respect the privacy of beneficiaries, donors and third parties;
  • Share only information that is relevant and appropriate for the campaign.

7 Use of Media & Copyright

Images, videos and other media used on GoldDonate should belong to the user or be properly licensed. Users should not upload content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.

8 Interactions Between Users

Interactions among users should remain professional and constructive. This includes:
  • Discussing concerns in a clear and respectful manner;
  • Not pressuring others for donations or support;
  • Not posting personal attacks or attempts to shame individuals or organizations.

9 Reporting Concerns

Users are encouraged to report campaigns, comments or behavior that may violate these Guidelines or other GoldDonate policies. Reports should include relevant details so that the situation can be reviewed.

10 Actions on Violations

When GoldDonate determines that these Guidelines have been violated, actions may include:
  • Requesting edits or updates to campaign content;
  • Limiting access to some features or temporarily suspending accounts;
  • Removing campaigns, comments or accounts where necessary;
  • Cooperating with relevant authorities when required.

11 Relationship to Other Policies

These Community Guidelines work together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and other GoldDonate policies. Users are expected to follow all applicable rules when using the Platform.

12 Updates to These Guidelines

GoldDonate may update these Community Guidelines as platform practices, standards or legal requirements evolve. Updates take effect once published on GoldDonate.com.
