Story

Many rural communities in Cambodia face persistent challenges including poor infrastructure, limited access to clean water, low-quality education, inadequate healthcare services, and unstable livelihoods. Families rely mainly on agriculture and daily labor, making them vulnerable to climate change, floods, droughts, and economic shocks.

Due to limited resources and remote locations, rural villages are often left behind in national development efforts.

Lack of development affects every part of daily life. Children struggle to access education, families face health risks from unsafe water, and farmers lack tools and training to increase income. Poor roads limit access to markets and emergency services, keeping communities trapped in poverty.

Women, children, and elderly people are the most affected by these conditions.

This project aims to improve living conditions in rural communities by strengthening infrastructure, supporting livelihoods, and ensuring access to basic services. The goal is to help villages become self-reliant, resilient, and sustainable.

The rural development project includes:

  • Clean water systems and sanitation facilities

  • Community road and infrastructure improvement

  • Support for small-scale farming and livestock

  • Agricultural tools, seeds, and training

  • Community learning spaces and education support

  • Health awareness and basic medical outreach

  • Women and youth livelihood training programs

  • Community-led planning and participation

This project will support 1,200 rural residents across multiple villages, including children, farmers, and vulnerable families.

Through this project, rural communities will:

  • Access clean water and safer living conditions

  • Improve income and food security

  • Increase school attendance

  • Strengthen local economies

  • Reduce poverty and migration

  • Build resilience against climate and economic shocks

Sustainable rural development creates lasting change for generations.

Your support brings opportunity to communities often left behind. Every donation helps build stronger villages where families can live with dignity, children can learn, and communities can thrive.

Together, we build sustainable rural futures.

Frequently
asked questions

The project benefits rural families, farmers, children, women, and vulnerable community members living in underdeveloped villages. Priority is given to communities with limited access to clean water, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities.

Villages are selected through community assessments, local authority recommendations, and needs-based evaluations. Selection focuses on poverty levels, access to basic services, vulnerability to climate impacts, and community willingness to participate.

The project includes clean water and sanitation systems, small infrastructure improvements (roads, community spaces), livelihood and agricultural support, education and health outreach, and capacity-building for women and youth.

Sustainability is ensured through community participation, local training, and ownership. Communities are involved in planning, implementation, and maintenance so that improvements continue after the project ends.

Yes. Women and youth are actively included through livelihood training, leadership roles, and skill-building programs. Special attention is given to empowering women economically and socially within their communities.

Donations are used for materials, training, infrastructure development, clean water systems, agricultural tools, health and education activities, transportation, and project monitoring. All funds are carefully managed to maximize impact.

The project promotes climate-resilient practices such as sustainable farming, water conservation, soil management, and disaster preparedness. These measures help communities adapt to floods, droughts, and changing weather patterns.

If donations exceed the goal, additional funds will be used to expand the project to more villages, strengthen existing activities, or add essential services such as sanitation facilities or additional livelihood support.

The project follows strict financial and program monitoring systems. Regular reports, photos, and impact updates are shared with donors. Community feedback mechanisms are also used to ensure accountability and effectiveness.

Yes. Donors will receive regular updates including progress reports, success stories, photos, and measurable outcomes. Transparency and communication are key commitments of this campaign.
