Cambodia’s border regions have long been home to families displaced by poverty, migration, land conflicts, loss of livelihoods, and instability.
Many refugees and migrant families living along the borders of:
Pursat
Pailin
Battambang
Banteay Meanchey
Oddar Meanchey
Preah Vihear
face daily hunger, lack of clean water, and unsafe living conditions.
They arrive with nothing but the clothes they carry, often fleeing:
Loss of farmland
Debt migration
Cross-border displacement
Climate disasters
Economic hardship
Most refugees settle temporarily near border forests, mountains, or rural villages — places far from hospitals, schools, markets, and any form of support.
Many live in:
Makeshift wooden shelters
Plastic-sheet tents
Abandoned land areas
Community border zones
Families have little access to employment or stable income, leaving children and elders at the highest risk.
Some days, refugee families survive on one small meal or none at all.
This campaign exists to deliver life-saving food supplies to refugee families struggling to survive in border zones.
