Story

For a child, cancer is not just a disease—it is fear, pain, and uncertainty far beyond their years.
For parents, it is heartbreak mixed with helplessness, especially when treatment costs are impossible to afford.

In Siem Reap Province, two hospitals stand as lifelines for children battling cancer:

  • Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital

  • Angkor Children’s Hospital

These hospitals serve children not only from Siem Reap, but also from remote provinces across northern and northwestern Cambodia. Many families travel for days to reach treatment—often selling land, borrowing money, or giving up everything they own.

Despite the dedication of doctors and nurses, financial barriers remain one of the greatest threats to a child’s survival.

Children are diagnosed with:

  • Leukemia

  • Brain tumors

  • Bone cancer

  • Lymphoma

  • Kidney tumors

  • Advanced solid tumors

Early treatment can save lives—but many children arrive late because families could not afford transportation, tests, or surgery.

This campaign exists to ensure that no child is denied cancer treatment because of poverty.
