How do I create a fundraising campaign?
To create a campaign, first sign up for a GoldDonate account. Then click "Start a Campaign" and follow the step-by-step process. You'll need to provide campaign details, set a goal, add photos or videos, and complete identity verification. Once approved, your campaign will go live and you can start sharing it with potential donors.
How long does it take to receive payouts?
Payout timing depends on verification status and balance amount. After completing identity verification: $100+ balances are automatically transferred within 7-14 days. $1,000+ balances can request faster transfer of 1-6 days after verification approval. Fees: 10% platform fee (does NOT include bank transfer, payment gateway, or tax fees). Additional fees covered by fundraiser. All payouts are subject to our verification and security checks.
Is it safe to donate on GoldDonate?
Yes, GoldDonate uses industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect all transactions. We verify campaign creators, monitor for fraud, and use secure payment processors. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers. We also have a comprehensive Trust & Safety program to protect both donors and fundraisers.
Can I get a refund for my donation?
Refunds may be available in certain circumstances, such as duplicate donations, processing errors, or if a campaign violates our policies. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the donation. Please review our Refund Policy for complete details and contact support@golddonate.com to request a refund.
What payment methods are accepted?
GoldDonate accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and bank transfers. We also support digital wallets like PayPal in select regions. All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways.
How do I report a suspicious campaign?
If you encounter a campaign that seems suspicious or violates our policies, you can report it by clicking the "Report" button on the campaign page or contacting our Trust & Safety team at support@golddonate.com. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly to maintain platform integrity.
