1 Scope of This Policy

This Payout & Verification Policy applies to all fundraisers and campaigns on GoldDonate that receive donations and request payouts. It covers identity verification (KYC), payout eligibility, payout frequency, holds, delays and general release criteria.

2 Identity Verification (KYC)

To protect donors and maintain compliance, GoldDonate may require verification of:
  • Individual fundraisers (name, date of birth, country, identification documents);
  • Organizations (legal name, registration details, address, authorized representatives);
  • Beneficiaries and payout recipients where applicable.
Payouts may not be released until requested identity and documentation checks have been completed to GoldDonate’s satisfaction and any required payment partner reviews have been finalized.

3 Automatic Payouts

GoldDonate uses an automatic payout system for verified fundraisers:
  • Available campaign balances of USD $100 or more are automatically transferred within 7-14 days after verification is complete;
  • Balances below USD $100 remain in the account until the threshold is reached;
  • Automatic payouts are issued to the verified payout method on file, subject to holds and reviews.

4 Large Balance Payout Requests

When a campaign balance reaches USD $1,000 or more, the fundraiser may request a payout by contacting GoldDonate Support using the registered account email. Upon approval:
  • GoldDonate may process the payout within approximately 1-6 days after verification and final review;
  • All verification (KYC), compliance and risk checks must be complete;
  • The payout will be sent to the verified payout destination on file.

5 Payout Methods

Payouts may be made using supported methods such as:
  • Bank transfer to a verified bank account;
  • Other payment services or settlement channels offered by GoldDonate’s payment partners.
Available payout methods depend on the fundraiser’s country, payment provider support and applicable rules.

6 Holds, Delays & Reviews

GoldDonate may place a hold or delay on payouts in situations including:
  • Pending identity or organization verification;
  • Unusual or rapid donation patterns;
  • Disputes, chargebacks or complaints about the campaign;
  • Requests from payment partners or financial institutions;
  • Potential policy violations or legal concerns.
Holds remain in place until reviews are complete and any outstanding issues are resolved.

7 Compliance & Risk Management

Payouts are subject to requirements related to financial regulations, sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML) and other applicable rules. GoldDonate and its payment partners may:
  • Request additional information about the fundraiser, organization or campaign;
  • Review large or unusual transactions;
  • Delay, limit or decline payouts when required by risk or compliance obligations.

8 Donor Disputes & Chargebacks

If a donor dispute, chargeback or refund investigation is opened, GoldDonate may:
  • Temporarily hold related campaign funds;
  • Offset future payouts to cover any amounts returned to donors;
  • Adjust payout timing or amounts based on final outcomes.

9 Bank Returns & Failed Payouts

If a payout fails (for example, due to incorrect bank details or a closed account), the funds may return to the campaign balance. The fundraiser may need to update payout information before another payout attempt.

10 Fees & Deductions

The following fees apply to payouts:
  • Platform Fee: 10% on each donation received. This fee covers platform maintenance, operational costs, and Trust & Safety measures.
  • Does NOT Include: The 10% platform fee does NOT include bank transfer fees (charged by bank/financial institution), payment gateway fees (charged by payment processors), taxes based on country (applicable taxes deducted), currency conversion fees (if applicable), or other third-party fees.
  • Additional Fees: All additional fees (bank transfer, payment gateway, taxes, currency conversion) are covered by the fundraiser.
  • Final Payment: The final payout amount is calculated after all applicable fees are deducted from the donation amount.

11 Currency & Conversion

Payouts may be made in the fundraiser's local currency where supported. Exchange rates and any applicable conversion or payout fees may be determined by payment providers involved in the transaction.

12 Closure of Campaigns & Final Payouts

When a campaign ends or is closed, any remaining eligible balance may be settled in accordance with this Policy, subject to verification, holds, refunds, disputes and compliance requirements.

13 Changes to This Policy

GoldDonate may update this Payout & Verification Policy as platform operations, payment partner rules or legal requirements evolve. Updates become effective when posted on GoldDonate.com.
